Stability Healthcare is a reputable travel nursing agency founded in 2009 with a dedicated mission to become the best travel nursing agency in California. Over the years, it has earned its position as one of the top travel nursing agencies by offering highly competitive pay packages and premium travel nursing job opportunities to its healthcare professionals. Stability Healthcare provides access to thousands of facilities across numerous states, giving nurses the flexibility to choose assignments that match their preferences and lifestyles. Whether nurses want to work amidst the sunny climate of California, explore the scenic Colorado Rockies, enjoy the Midwest summers, experience the seasonal changes in Boston or New York, or relax on Florida’s beaches, Stability Healthcare allows them to discover varied locations while advancing their careers. The agency ensures its nurses are placed in the best hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide, reinforcing commitment to quality care and professional growth.
The current opportunity is for a travel nurse Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to take on a contract position in Lodi, California. The ICU specialty focuses on providing care to acutely ill patients who require continuous monitoring and high-intensity therapies due to life-threatening medical conditions. Nurses in this specialty may work across different intensive care settings, including medical, surgical, cardiac, burn, or neurological ICU units, making the role diverse and challenging. This position is for a travel nurse engaged on a 13-week contract, designed for nurses who seek dynamic and rewarding opportunities that also offer flexibility and travel benefits.
The role requires working 36 hours per week in 12-hour night shifts, offering a balanced workload that supports work-life integration. Nurses will be expected to deliver expert care, closely monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role demands vigilance, quick decision-making, and compassionate assessment and intervention skills. Stability Healthcare supports its ICU travel nurses by providing comprehensive benefits, including a $600 travel bonus, day one health insurance coverage through United Healthcare, and a paid time off (PTO) plan that allows accrual from day one, enabling nurses to use PTO during the contract or cash out at the end. Additionally, if the facility cancels a shift, nurses are guaranteed a stipend to protect earnings, plus there is an extra hour bonus opportunity for working beyond the weekly contracted hours.
This job is an excellent choice for ICU nurses eager to expand their professional horizons while benefiting from Stability Healthcare’s supportive and flexible employment framework. The assigned pay package is based on the 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be confirmed, ensuring competitive compensation that values the nurse’s expertise and dedication. Stability Healthcare’s emphasis on offering some of the highest paying travel nursing jobs reflects its commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in critical healthcare roles. This opportunity is ideal for RNs who thrive in intensive care environments, enjoy travel, and seek rewarding contracts in prime locations such as Lodi, California.
