The current opportunity is for a travel Histology Technologist role based in Santa Rosa, California. This is a 13-week travel assignment requiring 40 hours per week, working night shifts from 8 pm for 8 hours per day. The position offers a competitive weekly pay of approximately $2150.12 to $2457.28, plus a tax-free stipend amount which will be confirmed upon placement. As a Histology Technologist, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting patient care and clinical operations by performing a variety of histology procedures that are critical to accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role involves working with both automated and manual techniques to execute tasks such as grossing, embedding, microtomy, staining of tissue samples, and preparing thin prep, cell block, and cytospin for gynecological specimens.
This position demands a detail-oriented and skilled professional who can maintain stringent adherence to facility protocols and regulatory standards while providing high-quality laboratory services. It also requires effective collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to support comprehensive patient care.
