Job Requirements

  • Valid echocardiography technologist license or certification
  • Minimum 2 years experience in echocardiography
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts
  • Willingness to travel for assignment duration
  • Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency
  • Compliance with healthcare facility policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in diagnostic medical sonography or related field
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience as an echocardiography technologist
  • Proficiency with ultrasound imaging equipment
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

Job Duties

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform echocardiograms
  • Analyze images of heart chambers, walls, and valves
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret imaging results
  • Maintain patient records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Educate patients about procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
