This travel position is for an Echo Technologist, a specialized role within the allied health professional discipline focusing on cardiac sonography. Echo Technologists, also known as cardiac sonographers, use advanced ultrasound technology and sound wave imaging tools to create detailed images of the heart. They play a critical role in inspecting the heart’s chambers, walls, and valves, providing essential diagnostic information used by cardiologists and other healthcare providers for patient care. This particular contract opportunity is based in Madera, California, with a start date of June 9th, 2026, and a duration of 13 weeks.
The role requires working 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift schedule, making it suitable for professionals who prefer daytime hours. As a travel assignment, this position offers the opportunity to experience working in a new healthcare setting while receiving a competitive pay package including a $600 travel bonus and additional hourly bonuses for overtime. Health insurance coverage begins on day one through United Healthcare, and a paid time off (PTO) plan is also available, allowing accrued time off during the contract or cash out at its conclusion. The employer guarantees a stipend if the facility cancels shifts unexpectedly, providing financial stability. This role is ideal for echo technologists with at least two years of experience who are looking to advance their careers in a flexible travel position with comprehensive benefits and supportive staffing agency backing.
