Job Requirements
- Valid echocardiography technologist license or certification
- Minimum 2 years experience in echocardiography
- Ability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts
- Willingness to travel for assignment duration
- Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency
- Compliance with healthcare facility policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in diagnostic medical sonography or related field
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience as an echocardiography technologist
- Proficiency with ultrasound imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Job Duties
- Operate ultrasound equipment to perform echocardiograms
- Analyze images of heart chambers, walls, and valves
- Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret imaging results
- Maintain patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Educate patients about procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
