Job Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • minimum 1 year of experience in endoscopy or related field
  • availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting June 1, 2026
  • ability to work 40 hours per week
  • willingness to work day shifts
  • ability to relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana
  • strong patient care and assessment skills

Job Qualifications

  • Valid RN license
  • experience in endoscopy or GI nursing
  • knowledge of sedation and patient monitoring
  • ability to work 8-hour day shifts
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
  • ability to handle clinical documentation and electronic medical records

Job Duties

  • Provide care to patients undergoing procedures in an endoscopy/GI lab
  • assess and monitor patients during procedures
  • administer sedation and monitor patients post-procedure
  • collaborate with medical team to ensure patient safety
  • manage documentation and patient records
  • educate patients and families about procedure and post-care instructions
  • adhere to infection control and safety protocols
