Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- minimum 1 year of experience in endoscopy or related field
- availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting June 1, 2026
- ability to work 40 hours per week
- willingness to work day shifts
- ability to relocate to Baton Rouge, Louisiana
- strong patient care and assessment skills
Job Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- experience in endoscopy or GI nursing
- knowledge of sedation and patient monitoring
- ability to work 8-hour day shifts
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- ability to handle clinical documentation and electronic medical records
Job Duties
- Provide care to patients undergoing procedures in an endoscopy/GI lab
- assess and monitor patients during procedures
- administer sedation and monitor patients post-procedure
- collaborate with medical team to ensure patient safety
- manage documentation and patient records
- educate patients and families about procedure and post-care instructions
- adhere to infection control and safety protocols
