The current opportunity is for a travel nurse RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) in New Haven, Connecticut. This contract position spans 13 weeks, starting on August 24, 2026, offering 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts. The CVOR nurse plays a critical role in the surgical care of cardiovascular patients, from preoperative preparation to intraoperative management and postoperative care. Responsibilities include operating bypass machines, administering anesthesia, monitoring patient status during surgery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role demands expertise in cardiovascular procedures, keen attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Stability Healthcare provides a generous pay package based on 12-hour shifts with a competitive tax-free stipend, a $600 travel bonus, day-one health insurance through United Healthcare, and a paid time off plan that starts accruing immediately and can be used during the contract or cashed out upon completion.
