Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency that has been a trusted provider of temporary and contract healthcare staffing services since 1983. The company specializes in connecting nursing and allied healthcare professionals with leading healthcare facilities across the United States. With a focus on quality, compassion, and clinical insight, MedPro Healthcare Staffing is committed to supporting both the facilities in need of skilled staff and the nurses seeking flexible, rewarding travel assignments. Their mission centers around allowing healthcare providers to focus on patient care while MedPro handles all the administrative and logistical details, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for every professional they serve.

The current opportunity is for a Critical Care Float Registered Nurse (RN) to join a prestigious medical facility in Seattle, Washington, on a travel nursing assignment. This position is a 13-week travel contract starting on August 3, 2026, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours, working 12-hour night shifts. The role is designed for experienced critical care nurses who are adept at managing adults facing life-threatening conditions that require complex assessments, intensive therapies, and urgent interventions. The nurse will be responsible not only for delivering exceptional bedside care but also for educating and supporting patients and their families, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care throughout the critical care journey.

As a critical care float nurse, adaptability is key. The nurse must be comfortable working across various intensive care units, responding rapidly to changes in patient conditions, and performing emergency procedures such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The role involves the meticulous monitoring of vital signs, managing life support equipment like ventilators and feeding tubes, administering medications and intravenous therapies, and maintaining thorough documentation practices. MedPro Healthcare Staffing ensures a seamless support system for travel nurses, including coverage of credentialing fees, private housing or housing allowance, group health insurance for nurses and their families, company-paid life and disability insurance, travel reimbursements, 401(k) matching, and more.

Joining MedPro Healthcare Staffing not only means engaging in a meaningful and impactful nursing role but also becoming part of a caring community that values professional growth, personalized career support, and work-life balance. With access to thousands of travel assignments nationwide, nurses can select placements that align with their personal and professional goals, enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing backed by a dedicated team. MedPro's unique combination of clinical expertise, technological tools like the MPX+ Mobile app for real-time job and credential management, and comprehensive benefits package makes it an outstanding choice for travel nurses seeking both challenge and support in their careers.
