Pilot Flying J, a major segment of Pilot Company, is actively seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager to lead operations at its high-volume travel centers. This full-time role features a salary range starting from $48,700 to $70,565 per year, and involves overseeing the generation and execution of business plans for travel centers and associated restaurants, aiming to meet and exceed sales, profit, and customer satisfaction benchmarks. The Retail Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring the utmost customer service quality, conducting effective team meetings, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and managing a diverse team from hiring, training, and ongoing development perspectives. The role requires hands-on leadership in driving sales growth, managing operational inventory, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and liaising with various stakeholders to perform financial analyses including profit and loss statements. Job Requirements
- minimum 2-3 years of management experience in retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry
- previous experience managing high volume retail operations
- proficiency in profit and loss management
