Job Requirements
- Current RN licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
- Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Availability to work 40 hours per week and 8-hour day shifts
- Compliance with all healthcare facility policies and procedures
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
- Willingness to relocate temporarily to Augusta, Georgia
Job Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Specialty training or experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing
- Ability to work 8-hour day shifts
- Valid state nursing license for Georgia or eligibility to obtain
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a surgical environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Job Duties
- Provide perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular operating room patients
- Assist surgeons and surgical team during cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain sterile environment and ensure infection control standards
- Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after surgery
- Administer medications and anesthesia as directed
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and implement nursing care
