The current opportunity is for a travel Cardiac Sonographer based in Columbia, South Carolina. This role is a travel position with an anticipated start date of June 29, 2026, and a duration of 13 weeks. The position requires a 36-hour workweek comprised of 12-hour shifts, offering the flexibility and adventure that travel nursing jobs provide while enabling clinicians to gain diverse clinical experiences. The pay package for this role is based on 12-hour shifts and a 36-hour workweek and includes a tax-free stipend amount, subject to confirmation. As a Cardiac Sonographer, also known as an Echo Tech, you will work within radiology and cardiology disciplines to perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures that are vital to diagnosing and managing cardiovascular diseases. This role demands a high level of technical skill, clinical knowledge, and patient care expertise, which will contribute to effective cardiac assessment and treatment planning.

Job Requirements

  • Valid cardiac sonographer certification
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in cardiac sonography
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week including 12-hour shifts
  • Eligibility to work as a travel healthcare professional

  • High school diploma or equivalent
