This 13-week contract involves working 40 hours per week, with shifts consisting of 10 hours during night hours. Responsibilities include examining specimens for bacteria, viruses, or parasites; measuring drug levels to monitor therapeutic efficacy; assessing chemical content in blood for nutrient or cholesterol abnormalities; and utilizing cell counters, cultures, and microscopes. Adherence to laboratory protocols for analyzing, interpreting, and reporting test results is essential.

Applicants must have active certification through recognized bodies such as ASCP, AMT, HEW, or AAB, along with a minimum of eighteen months of relevant experience in a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Technician role. State licensure may be required depending on the location.
