Job Description
Ally Waste is a nationally recognized valet trash and recycling service provider that caters to apartment communities, student housing, and senior living facilities throughout the United States. Established with a clear mission to maintain cleaner communities, enhance resident satisfaction, and ensure properties operate efficiently, Ally Waste has steadily grown as a reliable and trusted partner in the waste management sector. The company prides itself on valuing its workforce, understanding that the success of its operations hinges on the dedication and performance of its employees. By fostering a company culture founded on respect, high standards, and team investment, Ally Waste has positioned itself as a preferred employer for individuals seeking meaningful, part-time work that fits around their existing commitments. Ally Waste exemplifies a commitment to quality service combined with a supportive work environment, making it an attractive option for those who want to work independently while contributing positively to their communities.
Ally Waste is currently seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join their team as Part-Time Night Trash Collectors, often referred to as Trash Valets. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those looking for a flexible evening side job that leverages the use of an open-bed pickup truck. The Trash Valet position involves working Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting at 7 PM, with shifts typically spanning 1 to 2 hours per night. This schedule allows team members to earn extra income without interfering with a typical daytime job or other daytime responsibilities. Compensation is competitive with an opportunity to earn $100 per night, increasing to $125 on Sundays, making it a lucrative option for supplemental earnings.
The primary responsibilities focus on walking through various apartment complex communities to collect residents' tied trash bags directly from their doorsteps and transporting these to designated dumpster areas on site. This work requires physical activity, including carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds, walking stairs, and being outdoor-active in different weather conditions. Team members also utilize a company smartphone app to take and upload photos as part of their job reporting and monitoring process. Safety is a key priority, with Ally Waste providing all necessary personal protective equipment such as gloves and safety vests to ensure all workers are secure while on duty.
One of the standout features of this role with Ally Waste is the company’s commitment to its employees’ welfare and career growth opportunities. Employees enjoy weekly pay delivered every Friday via direct deposit, guaranteed time off during all major holidays, and the potential to advance into leadership positions within the company. Additionally, employees become eligible for a 401k plan after just 90 days of tenure, reflecting the company's investment in long-term employee benefits. Ally Waste emphasizes creating a safe, respectful, and rewarding work environment where team members are valued for their contributions and encouraged to succeed. Individuals who appreciate working independently, enjoy staying active, and desire to boost their income through a manageable evening schedule will find the Trash Valet position ideal. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and become part of a growing, people-focused company with a strong track record in the waste management industry.
