Job Description

Ally Waste is a nationally recognized company specializing in valet trash and recycling services. They provide these essential services primarily for apartment communities, student housing, and senior living facilities across the nation. Their mission centers on maintaining cleaner communities, increasing resident satisfaction, and ensuring properties operate efficiently. Ally Waste operates under strong values that emphasize respect, high standards, and a commitment to investing in their team members, believing that those who perform the work are the driving force behind their success. With a focus on fostering a respectful and supportive work environment, Ally Waste continually expands its services by forming new partnerships in communities across the country, making them a reputable and dependable employer in the waste management sector.

Ally Waste is currently hiring Part-Time, Night Trash Collectors, also known as Trash Valets. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a simple, flexible side job, especially for those who own an open-bed pickup truck. The role demands a short evening schedule of five nights per week, starting at 7 pm, typically requiring 1-2 hours per night. Pay rates can reach up to $50 per night, though this is subject to variation based on factors such as vehicle type, whether the employee has a helper, and the size of the property serviced. The schedule allows individuals to work roughly 5 to 10 hours weekly, depending on the location and needs of the community.

As a Trash Valet, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within apartment communities by collecting tied trash bags from residents' doorsteps and transporting them safely to designated dumpster areas. In addition, employees are expected to use the company's app to document their work by taking and uploading photos, ensuring accountability and transparency. The job requires physical activity, including the ability to carry items up to 30 lbs, walk stairs, and stay active for the duration of your shift. Importantly, this role requires working independently outdoors, regardless of weather conditions, so resilience and reliability are key traits for success.

Ally Waste prioritizes employee safety by providing personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety vests, and other necessary gear. They also foster a positive work culture by offering employees weekly pay via direct deposit, guaranteed major holidays off, and opportunities for advancement into leadership roles. Additional benefits include access to a 401(k) plan after 90 days of tenure. This position suits those looking to earn extra income outside traditional 9-5 jobs, particularly since shifts are short and conveniently scheduled in the evenings. Overall, Ally Waste offers a rewarding position for individuals who value independence, physical activity, and community service while enjoying the flexibility of part-time hours.

If you have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance with yourself listed as a covered driver, a reliable open-bed pickup truck, and a smartphone, this could be an ideal side job for you. Ally Waste is actively hiring for these part-time Trash Collector roles due to ongoing company growth and the expansion of new community partnerships. Candidates interested in making a tangible impact on their communities while earning supplemental income are encouraged to apply to be considered for current or upcoming routes in their area.
