Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Six months of transporting experience preferred in acute care setting
- Heartsaver CPR certification
- Valid Arizona driver’s license preferred
- Knowledge of safety practices in transporting personnel or merchandise
- Ability to follow directions and maintain work documentation
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small groups
- Ability to perform basic math calculations including adding and subtracting two-digit numbers
- Ability to read a clock and accurately document time
- Ability to apply common sense to instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Adheres to organizational safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and behavior standards

- Completes assignment logs with authorized signatures
- Sorts and processes incoming and outgoing mail
- Collects, weighs, and affixes postage to mail and parcels
- Interprets and applies US Postal Service regulations
- Operates computer-based mail machinery
- Maintains records and documentation
- Collects specimens for laboratory analysis
- Operates motor vehicle complying with laws
- Transports and delivers materials
- Performs related duties as assigned
- May perform duties of Transporter I as needed
