Job Description
Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club, nestled just outside of Austin, TX, is a unique private residential community that embodies the spirit and natural beauty of the Texas Hill Country. With an expansive 800-acre property, the club offers its members access to 70 acres of vineyards, a championship 18-hole golf course designed by the acclaimed architect Tom Fazio, and breathtaking views featuring rolling hills, towering oak trees, wildflowers, and vast cliffs above a flowing creek. The club is divided into two distinct yet connected areas: The Ranch, focusing on an elevated golf lifestyle, and The Creek, boasting the property’s most scenic landscapes. This family-friendly and refined destination is an exquisite example of luxury rural living combined with first-class amenities and service.
Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club is part of Discovery Land Company, a U.S.-based real estate developer and operator specializing in private residential communities. Discovery Land Company is known for developing and managing world-renowned domestic and international properties that emphasize creating unique environments where individuals and families can thrive in safety, freedom, and leisure. Their commitment to quality and excellence extends to providing exceptional service and experiences to their members, guests, and employees, making Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club a coveted destination and workplace.
The Transportation/Valet Attendant position at Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club is a vital role within the Transportation Department, responsible for welcoming members and guests as the first and last face they see during their visit. This role is focused on delivering outstanding customer service by efficiently and safely parking and retrieving vehicles and golf carts, as well as transporting members to various locations on and off the property, including airports and other local sites. Beyond driving duties, the attendant also maintains the cleanliness and operational condition of transportation shuttles and company vehicles, assists members with luggage and accessibility needs, ensures adherence to safety and traffic regulations, and supports general department operations.
This role demands a dedicated professional with a keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and standing for extended periods. The Transportation/Valet Attendant works collaboratively with other team members and contributes significantly to the overall member and guest experience. The position typically requires the flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate the high standard of service the club maintains. This opportunity offers competitive pay, with potential benefits for full-time year-round employees such as medical, dental, vision coverage, 401k contribution, paid time off, and employee programs supporting professional growth and a work-family culture.
