Job Requirements

  • Valid U.S. driver's license or international equivalent
  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • at least six months of guest-service experience in a high-volume environment
  • prior valet attendant experience preferred
  • safe driving proficiency
  • acceptable driving record
  • physical ability to stand/sit for long periods and perform manual tasks
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings/weekends/holidays
  • English proficiency
  • ability to meet physical demands including lifting over 50 pounds
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • adaptability to changing work demands

Job Qualifications

  • Valid U.S. driver's license or international equivalent
  • high school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • at least six months of guest-service experience in a high-volume environment such as a restaurant, resort, or private club
  • prior valet attendant experience in a luxury club or private resort setting preferred
  • proficient in proper and safe driving of vehicles
  • driving record that meets the club's insurance requirements
  • ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods and use vision, hearing, and hands/arms to drive multi-passenger vehicles
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, additional languages preferred
  • ability to meet the physical demands of the position including working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, moving for more than eight hours, and lifting items greater than 50 pounds
  • positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • ability to stay calm and focused during busy times

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members, guests, and team members
  • meet and greet all arriving/departing members and guests in a timely manner
  • park and retrieve member, guest and customer vehicles or golf carts in specified areas in an efficient and safe manner
  • drive, pick up, or drop off members and VIP guests around the local area, including the airport
  • perform drive and park assignments per department policies/procedures
  • keep parking areas clean and orderly
  • provide member assistance and information such as giving directions, handling baggage, assisting with wheelchairs loading and unloading
  • ensure that members and guests belongings are retrieved and delivered to the proper outlet
  • maintain clean transportation shuttles and company vehicles including basic cleaning services
  • check condition of transport vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and safety equipment
  • provide deliveries/pickups as needed and run other errands
  • prepare and submit reports on passenger trips, ridership, hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • comply with local and public traffic laws and highway safety rules
  • follow written and verbal geographical directions
  • operate light and heavy passenger vans and buses for transport to airports, off-site housing, and activities
  • monitor and maintain staff transportation schedules
  • attend department meetings and trainings as necessary
  • any additional duties as assigned
