We are currently seeking a dedicated Transportation Supervisor who will play a pivotal role in leading and supporting our transportation team. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $33.35 and the opportunity to participate in company incentive or bonus programs. The Transportation Supervisor will be responsible for positively influencing and managing a team of up to 20 transportation employees, including bus drivers, while ensuring the smooth daily operations of the transit system. The role involves overseeing employee breaks, monitoring attendance and clock-ins, managing training and support programs, handling disciplinary matters, and serving as a key liaison with customer representatives. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of operational protocols. The Transportation Supervisor will also oversee compliance with bus maintenance schedules and vehicle inspection records, assist with incident and accident reporting, conduct driver evaluations, and be prepared to drive the shuttle when required.

Candidates must have a Class B CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements and at least one year of experience driving a bus. The role demands flexibility and dependability across various shifts, with a strong emphasis on ensuring compliance with ADA rules and regulations. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, is essential for maintaining reports and documentation. Job Duties

  • Supervise daily operations including roving and monitoring the operation, respond to questions and concerns

  • ensure communication during shift changes
  • approve day trades
  • approve leave requests
  • participate in disciplinary actions
