Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge
- minimum 3 years of transportation or logistics supervision experience
- strong problem solving skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to lead and develop teams
- knowledge of OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, EPA regulations
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge required
- 3+ years of experience in transportation or logistics supervision
- problem solving and leadership skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results and achieve productivity goals
- working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulations
- excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required along with the ability to multi-task
- good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
Job Duties
- ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely
- accountable for coordinating drivers, routes, and schedules to support on-time departures while maintaining full compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards
- conduct daily work group meetings
- schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets
- ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, HACCP
- document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements
- ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights
- monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- perform other duties as deemed necessary
