The role of Transportation Driver at NeuroRestorative is a full-time position with an hourly wage range of $16 to $16.50. This role is crucial in supporting the mission of NeuroRestorative by providing safe and reliable transportation for clients, their families, and company personnel to various programs and functions operated by the agency. The driver not only ensures safe travel but also plays an important role in supervising and assisting clients during transportation and at program functions. The responsibilities extend beyond driving to include maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicles, handling refueling and routine maintenance checks, and managing documentation such as registration, inspection stickers, and insurance. The driver is also expected to uphold ethical and professional standards as outlined by agency policies and comply with all relevant statutes in the execution of their duties.
This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented professional with a clean driving record and a valid Chauffeur Driver’s License. Experience in a similar role is favored but not mandatory. The candidate must demonstrate a meticulous approach to vehicle maintenance and client care, ensuring that all passengers, including those with disabilities, are safely assisted. Additionally, this role may involve performing various custodial and maintenance tasks when not engaged in driving duties. Job Duties
- Provide safe transportation of clients, families, and agency personnel as needed to any/all agency programs or functions
- May assist passengers with disabilities into and out of vehicle
- May keep records of trips and/or behavior of passengers
- Responsible for cleanliness and upkeep of vehicles including refueling, oil maintenance, etc.
- Maintain proper vehicle documentation, e.g., registration, inspection sticker, insurance, etc.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards as outlined in agency policies and abide by all statutes in conducting company business
- May perform other duties when not driving, such as custodial and maintenance tasks
