MENTOR Adult Day Health, part of the Sevita family, is a reputable provider of day programs designed specifically for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. Sevita, a recognized leader in home and community-based specialized healthcare, has been committed for over 50 years to empowering individuals with physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges by providing high-quality, individualized supports that promote growth and independence. With a dedicated team of over 40,000 professionals, Sevita serves approximately 50,000 individuals nationwide, helping them live fulfilling and engaged lives within their communities. MENTOR Adult Day Health focuses on allowing seniors to remain active, connected, and involved in their communities while continuing to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Their programs are staffed by skilled licensed nurses and caregivers who provide attentive, personalized care to enhance each participant's quality of life.

We are currently seeking a full-time Transportation Driver for our Adult Day Health program located in West Boylston, MA. This role offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule with a competitive wage of $18 per hour. Significantly, there are no evening, weekend, or on-call shifts, making this an ideal position for individuals seeking stable and predictable working hours. As a Transportation Driver, you will be a vital part of our mission, providing safe and reliable transportation for program participants between their homes, day centers, community events, and medical appointments. Your role ensures that seniors stay connected, active, and engaged, which is crucial for their well-being and social inclusion.

The Transportation Driver position is far more than just operating a vehicle; it involves compassionate interaction and assistance. Drivers are expected to support passengers with boarding and securing themselves safely in the vehicle, use proper lifting and transfer techniques when needed, and maintain the cleanliness and safe operation of the vehicle. Additional responsibilities include completing daily maintenance checks and promptly reporting any service issues to ensure safety standards are upheld. Beyond transportation, drivers also assist day program staff by offering help with participant care, activities, and meals, providing hygiene and bathroom assistance when required. This role requires a reliable, responsible individual who communicates effectively and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team dedicated to improving the lives of elders.

Working with MENTOR Adult Day Health means joining a mission-driven organization that values each team member’s contribution and fosters a supportive culture. Employees benefit from a comprehensive pay and benefits package including competitive wages, full benefits for full-time employees, and financial perks such as a 401(k) plan with company matching, Paid Time Off, paid holidays starting day one, and bonus and referral programs. Our Dayforce Wallet program allows employees to access earned wages quickly, improving financial flexibility. Additionally, team members enjoy access to exclusive employee discounts through Sevita’s "Perks at Work" program.

If you want to make a positive impact every day by helping older adults maintain independence, connection, and dignity, this position offers the perfect opportunity. Join us and become an integral part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing the lives of those who rely on our care.
