The role based in Abilene, TX warehouse, offers a valuable opportunity to join this dynamic organization as a Warehouse Driver. This position is designed for those who are dedicated to ensuring the smooth and safe transport of finished goods or raw materials between production and warehousing facilities. The role operates on a Friday through Monday schedule, during the night shift from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.95 to $30.39, depending on the candidate's experience. Additionally, employees in this position may earn performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, and referral bonuses, along with comprehensive benefits.

The Warehouse Driver is tasked with operating vehicles safely, loading and unloading goods efficiently using tools like forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring all transportation activities comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The job also includes maintaining necessary documentation such as DOT time logs and Bills of Lading, performing vehicle inspections before and after trips, and adhering to company standards for vehicle and equipment maintenance. This position is critical to the supply chain process, directly supporting the company's ability to meet customer demands and uphold high standards of logistics management.

Candidates for this warehouse driver role should have a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with an interstate designation, a clean driving record compliant with Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) policy guidelines, and experience operating industrial power trucks and 2/4-wheel dollies. Prior general work experience, as well as familiarity with DOT regulations, is preferred, ensuring the candidate can efficiently manage the responsibilities of timely and safe product transportation. Job Duties

  • Transport finished goods or raw materials between facilities
  • Load and unload goods using forklift or pallet jacks or connect or disconnect trailers at destination
  • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, as well as verify load and seal numbers
  • Maintain DOT time log, Bill of Lading, and other paperwork as required
  • Maintain vehicle, product and equipment to company standards
