It stands as one of the largest suppliers of safety products and is a significant provider of ammonia products and process chemicals within the United States. With a dedicated workforce of approximately 18,000 associates, Airgas fosters a culture centered around safety, customer success, sustainability, and innovation. The company empowers its employees to take initiative, share ideas, and make critical decisions to enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate must hold a valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements, reflecting the critical safety and regulatory compliance inherent in transporting hazardous materials. A minimum of one year of CDL driving experience within the last five years, or recent certification from a trucking school, is required. The position also emphasizes maintaining a drug-free workplace and adherence to driving records that meet strict company and regulatory standards, including limitations on traffic convictions and at-fault accidents.

Airgas provides an exceptional benefits package that supports employees’ well-being and financial security, starting just 30 days after employment. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, and disability insurance. Support for parents comes in the form of up to 14 weeks of paid childbirth benefits. The company offers a 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions, tuition assistance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Additional benefits include an Employee Assistance Program, pre-tax commuter benefits, parental leave, floating holidays, and bereavement leave. Moreover, Airgas supports employee education and family needs through tuition reimbursement, discounted college tuition for eligible dependents, and an Airgas Scholarship Program.

Working at Airgas signifies joining a diverse and inclusive workplace that respects and honors varied backgrounds and perspectives. The company actively seeks to create an engaging environment that embraces diversity, fostering innovation and success.
