Currently, Miller Event Management is seeking a Dispatcher for the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp held in Oxnard, California. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-profile sports event, playing a key role in coordinating communication and the deployment of security personnel and staff throughout the event. The Dispatcher will be responsible for managing radio communications, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that operational activities are executed efficiently. The position includes comprehensive paid training alongside an instructor, designed to familiarize candidates with the dispatch computer software and the specific procedures required for the event. Pay for this position starts at $25.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role and the experience required. The work schedule is flexible, with three shifts available each day: early morning (5:45 AM to 2:15 PM), afternoon to late evening (1:45 PM to 10:15 PM), and overnight (9:45 PM to 6:15 AM). Candidates can expect to work no less than 25 hours per week, with the opportunity to adapt shifts according to availability and event demands.
Ideal candidates will possess a valid California driver's license or state-issued ID, experience with dispatching and radio communication, and strong customer service skills. A professional appearance and attitude are essential, as the Dispatcher represents the company to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Effective communication, including excellent command of English, both spoken and written, as well as the ability to write clear and concise reports, is mandatory. Applicants must have reliable transportation and the technological capabilities, such as a smartphone with email access, necessary to perform remote communications and reporting. Being bilingual is considered a plus for enhanced communication during the event.

Job Requirements

- Must have at least one year of dispatching experience
- Must possess radio communication experience

Job Duties
