Since 1974, ResCare has been a trusted provider supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them live more independently at home and actively participate in their communities. As a subsidiary of Sevita, a national leader in home and community-based specialized healthcare, ResCare benefits from a wealth of experience and resources, supporting over 50,000 individuals across the United States with a team of 40,000 dedicated professionals. Sevita's mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to live a full, independent life, regardless of the physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges they face. This commitment to person-centered care and skill development positions ResCare as an employer of choice for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

We are currently seeking a Training Coordinator to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our mission. The Training Coordinator will be responsible for the development and facilitation of training programs that empower our staff to deliver exceptional services effectively and compassionately. This role involves creating and maintaining curriculum, identifying skill and knowledge gaps through collaboration with management and staff, and designing training aids such as manuals, handouts, and visual tools. The Training Coordinator will utilize a variety of instructional methods, including one-on-one sessions, classroom training, teleconferencing, web-based, and computer-based training, to ensure accessibility and engagement.

The role requires close collaboration with internal training consultants, human resources, and management to address ongoing training needs and adapt programs to evolving policies and procedures. In addition to new hire orientation, the Training Coordinator will prepare and facilitate client-specific and clinical training, including CPR and medical administration. This position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines while fostering effective communication and teamwork.

Employing a candidate who is self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to professional growth, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a supportive team environment. In return, we offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package for full-time employees, including a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, holiday pay, and opportunities for career development and advancement nationwide.
