The Training Administrator position at Walden Security is a critical on-site role located at their corporate office in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Training within the Federal Services Division (FSD), this role plays a pivotal part in editing, auditing, and updating training programs and ensures full contract compliance. The Administrator focuses on creating, deploying, and maintaining high-quality training products specifically designed for security personnel servicing federal contracts. This position demands a detail-oriented professional who can coordinate Learning Management System (LMS) operations related to FSD requirements, collaborate with training instructors to update content and lesson plans, and ensure all training documentation is accurate and up to date.

Key responsibilities encompass managing eLearning content deployment, maintaining training forms, generating reports on training completions and certifications, troubleshooting LMS issues, and guiding contract managers on training compliance. The position also involves handling new hire processing, auditing various training documentation, supporting FSD Training Academy operations, and assisting in logistics such as shipment of weapons and ammunition. Success in this role requires strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with the ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends if needed. The Training Administrator is expected to have moderate to advanced technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and LMS platforms, and possess a valid state driver's license with a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • associate's degree or higher from an accredited university preferred
  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English
  • ability to write reports, internal business correspondence, curricula, and procedure manuals
  • effective presentation skills for groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to create and interpret bar graphs
  • ability to solve practical problems and interpret various forms of instructions
  • moderate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • experience with Learning Management Systems preferred
  • working knowledge of Internet programs and other software
  • ability to learn new software programs
  • currently possesses or able to obtain and maintain a valid State Driver's License

Job Duties

  • Implement and deploy eLearning content based on the current and future needs of FSD contracts
  • update Walden Security training forms as needed and modify required training documentation to ensure they are up to date
  • collaborate with Training Instructors to modify and update content and lesson plans to meet federal contract requirements
  • coordinate the day-to-day operations of the LMS as they relate to FSD requirements
  • review, prepare, and assist in updating training and LMS content before the start of each fiscal year
  • maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and employee development progress in the LMS
  • generate training reports such as completions and certifications by course
  • troubleshoot any LMS-related training issues reported by end users or other sources
  • guide contract managers and intermediate supervisors on completing required training forms
  • process new hires
  • update spreadsheets with new hires, LOA, FMLA, terminations, and transfers
  • provide general training and administrative support to assigned contracts and circuits including email and phone communications
  • perform LMS data entry and support
  • receive, review, and audit the training schedule
  • regulate and confirm that all training instructors are certified during documentation review and submit approval requests
  • perform documentation audit, processing, and entry for Phase I, Phase II, Annual training, Initial FAQ, and Annual FAQ
  • transfer FAQ documentation and audit/processing/entry
  • remedial training documentation audit, processing, and entry
  • conduct monthly activity report reviews
  • utilize SharePoint to release updated training materials to supervisors
  • support the FSD Training Department during shipments of weapons and ammo
  • support FSD Training Academy operations including LMS, classroom maintenance, and testing
  • perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Training
