The Traffic Coordinator role at Towne Park is a vital position responsible for managing and directing vehicular traffic in designated areas with efficiency and hospitality. Key responsibilities include providing valet parking services such as issuing parking tickets, adhering to mystery shop standards, and enforcing site-specific parking policies. When necessary, the Traffic Coordinator will assist guests with luggage during arrivals and departures, maintain claim checks and guest folio archives, and perform vehicle parking and retrieval promptly and safely. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • One to three months of related experience or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of traffic and valet procedures
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic math skills including operations with American money
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • One to three months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of traffic and valet procedures
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend standard English
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Register or computer experience preferred
  • Ability to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Direct vehicular traffic while providing attentive, friendly service to patients and guests
  • Assist marketing department with marketing efforts targeted to exciting clients
  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, location staff and co-workers
  • Acknowledge and greet guests immediately while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Use guest last name at all times when appropriate
  • Maintain accuracy and composure while under pressure
  • Use proper Towne Park phone etiquette
  • Assist guests with directions and inquiries
  • Provide information about surrounding area and main attractions as needed
  • Protect guest confidentiality per HIPPA requirements
  • Collect data in accordance with parking operations
  • Obtain information about daily events and rates to be charged
  • Maintain claim checks and guest folio archives
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely and promptly
  • Assist guests with luggage delivery and pick up during arrival and departure as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
