Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • must complete a sanitation course within the first year
  • ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions
  • capability to perform basic arithmetic
  • maintain emotional control under stress
  • able to resolve interpersonal situations
  • strong organizational skills
  • physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull and endure extended walking and standing
  • willingness to wear uniforms and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Duties

  • Produce and maintain work schedules
  • prepare production records
  • direct daily activities
  • maintain food production safety and quality
  • ensure food items are stored safely and hazard-free
  • maintain serving schedules according to menu specifications
  • uphold sanitary department in compliance with health and safety codes
  • maintain accurate weekly inventory
  • prepare vendor orders as needed
  • implement cost-effective programs
  • supervise and evaluate employees
  • promote employee growth and teamwork
