Job Description
CORT Tradeshow and Events is a renowned provider of innovative furniture rental solutions tailored specifically for tradeshows and diverse events such as festivals, weddings, corporate gatherings, and high-profile occasions including the Superbowl. With a reputation built on quality service and dependable event support, CORT supports clients by offering flexible, comprehensive, and stylish furniture rental options that enhance the ambiance and functionality of event spaces. The company’s expertise lies not only in providing a diverse range of rental products but also in its capability to manage all facets of event logistics efficiently. This makes CORT a trusted partner for event organizers looking to deliver exceptional experiences. Based in Aurora, Colorado, CORT is actively seeking to hire a Tradeshow Coordinator immediately. This position is vital to the company’s operational success, responsible for serving as the primary liaison between General Contractors and CORT’s internal Operations teams. The Tradeshow Coordinator plays an integral role in the smooth execution of trade shows and events, ensuring that all arrangements from delivery to setup meet high standards.*
The Tradeshow Coordinator at CORT undertakes comprehensive responsibilities throughout the entire lifecycle of event setups including pre-event coordination, effective scheduling, on-site management, and post-event follow-up. The coordinator ensures excellent quality control by verifying the condition and placement of rented furniture and is proactive in addressing any service-related issues promptly as they arise during events. This proactive problem-solving and communication skill set is essential to maintaining strong client relationships and ensures events run efficiently without disruptions. This role demands approximately 80% on-site presence at various tradeshow locations and about 20% time spent in the office coordinating logistics and communications. Travel is estimated at around 25%, requiring flexibility and readiness to be mobile.
The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $63,000 to $65,500, based on experience, complemented by eligibility for CORT’s Performance Sharing Plan (PSP), a bonus incentive reflecting individual and company performance. The schedule requires adaptability, including availability for nights and weekend shifts to meet the dynamic needs of tradeshow events. The candidate will engage in critical duties such as leading move-in and move-out activities, managing orders, overseeing temporary labor and union crews, coordinating layout plans, quality assurance of furniture placements, and providing real-time solutions to on-site service issues.
This position suits individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy hands-on coordination roles, and possess strong client-facing and logistical management capabilities. The Tradeshow Coordinator represents the company onsite, ensuring client satisfaction and the flawless execution of event setups that meet precise specifications and high-quality standards, reinforcing CORT’s leadership in immersive event furnishing and service excellence.
