Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • minimum two years' experience with event management and marketing in a B2B environment including internships or contract work
  • ability to build and execute events from start to finish
  • capability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • strong skills in project and budget management
  • excellent collaboration, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • ability to work both independently and in team settings
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • adaptable and flexible mindset
  • proficiency with microsoft office applications
  • strong time management skills and attention to detail
  • ability to travel to tradeshows and events including weekends with up to 30% travel that varies seasonally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • support the planning and execution of external tradeshows, society meetings and brand awareness events working collaboratively with the tradeshow and event manager, internal cross-functional teams and external event partners
  • coordinate all aspects of assigned tradeshows and events including event contracting, logistics execution, staffing, registration, exhibit space selection, booth layout, shipping, lodging, dinner reservations, booth asset management, pre- and post-show communications, social media promotion, meeting fulfillment, budget adherence, lead collection and distribution, working with third party vendors
  • ensure consistency in branding, key messaging, and audience experience at shows and events
  • assist with post-event follow-up, staff evaluations, lead collection, budget reconciliation, and meeting recaps
  • support planning and execution of internal meetings such as the national sales meeting and all company meetings
  • perform other related duties as assigned
