As a Trade Show Manager at Michels Corporation, you will be at the forefront of the company’s marketing efforts, responsible for the end-to-end management of trade shows and industry events. This role involves comprehensive planning, coordination, and logistics management to ensure that the company’s brand presence is consistent, professional, and aligned with business goals. The Trade Show Manager works closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, including marketing, sales, and external vendors, to deliver high-impact presentations at local, regional, and national events. With nationwide travel demands between 25 to 40 percent, this role suits an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and embraces challenges with a proactive, collaborative mindset. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel nationwide 25% to 40%
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
  • Knowledge of digital marketing platforms (desired)
  • Certified Trade Show Marketer (desired)
  • Face to face marketing experience (desired)
  • Negotiation, budgeting, and vendor management experience (desired)

Job Duties

  • Develop and coordinate tactical execution of marketing initiatives to support the Michels brand
  • Provide cross-functional support and process execution necessary for successful trade shows, events, social media, and graphic design
  • Implement trade show strategy, plans, and activities working closely with the marketing team
  • Manage the trade show budgets within pre-established guidelines
  • Organize and track expenses from year-to-year
  • Supervise and oversee trade show vendors
  • Research and identify opportunities to create brand exposure
  • Secure approved reservations and exhibit space for local, regional, and national events
  • Develop trade show listings to promote company services
  • Coordinate the shipping process of marketing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Maintain open communication with divisional and departmental leads to ensure coordination of marketing needs
