As a part-time Trade-In Event Assistant at SidelineSwap, you will play an essential role in supporting the company’s unique Trade-In Events. These events are hosted in collaboration with partner retail stores such as Dick’s Sporting Goods, Monkey Sports, and various sports facilities. The events provide customers with an opportunity to trade in their old sports gear in exchange for store credit, thereby encouraging sustainable consumption and offering an added value to the community. Your involvement will allow you to gain firsthand experience in multiple facets of the business including event management, customer service, account management, sales and marketing, and retail analytics. This role offers a comprehensive opportunity to develop a diverse set of skills while contributing to a meaningful mission.

The Trade-In Event Assistant will be a vital representative of SidelineSwap at these events, serving as the face of the company to ensure the highest quality customer experience. Responsibilities include assisting with the setup, execution, and breakdown of the trade-in events, evaluating sports equipment using specialized value guides and proprietary trade-in technology, managing inventory systems for proper distribution, and photographing items to capture key details for e-commerce purposes.
