The Food Stand Worker position at Sodexo located in T-Mobile Park offers a part-time employment opportunity with a competitive pay rate of $26.50 per hour. This role plays a critical part in the success of food service operations during live events, focusing on efficiency, product availability, and cleanliness. As a Food Stand Worker, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and serving food and beverages aligned with established recipes and portion control guidelines. Your work will support high-volume event food operations by ensuring food stands are well-stocked, clean, and ready to serve customers promptly during peak times. The job may involve working in fixed stands, portable or mobile locations, kiosks, autonomous retail stores, or support areas. Service formats vary and include ready-to-eat items, made-to-order products, or pre-packaged food and beverages. Given the dynamic nature of event services, duties will fluctuate depending on the venue, event type, and operational requirements.
In addition to food preparation and customer service, you will assist in opening and closing food stands by setting up, taking down, and cleaning the area. Operating basic food service equipment such as warmers, grills, fryers, or beverage dispensers is also part of the responsibility. Physical demands include frequently lifting and moving up to 35 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds. Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential to meet scheduled shifts efficiently. Sodexo values employees who bring enthusiasm and flexibility, supporting a team-oriented environment where the shared goal is delivering excellent customer experiences during events.
Sodexo encourages employees to maintain relevant certifications required for their duties, such as TIPS or TEAM certification for responsible alcohol service and, when applicable, food handler certification according to local or state regulations. This ensures compliance with safety and service standards while fostering a professional work environment. Overall, working as a Food Stand Worker at Sodexo provides not just a job but an opportunity to be part of a larger mission to enhance people's daily lives through quality service and team collaboration.
