The Store Manager role at the new Eastview Mall location is a dynamic leadership position offering the opportunity to be a central part of the brand’s revival. This is a salaried, full-time employment opportunity and provides an exciting chance to lead a team of dedicated individuals in delivering outstanding customer experiences. The manager will be the face of fun and a key catalyst in making the store a local hotspot for engagement and play.
This position goes beyond traditional retail management. It demands a hands-on approach to leadership with a focus on coaching and developing a high-performing team. The Store Manager will orchestrate the in-store environment by driving sales, analyzing key performance indicators, and crafting events that transform shopping into a magical experience. The role also involves collaborating closely with visual merchandisers and the corporate Home Office to maintain store standards and operational excellence.
Ideal candidates will have at least two years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, events, or educational settings. They will bring positive energy, passion for play, and a customer-centric mindset. The Store Manager will need to be flexible with work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, and should be comfortable working with store systems and point-of-sale platforms. Job Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- specific vision abilities including close, distance, and peripheral vision
- regular verbal communication and listening skills
- frequent use of hands to handle or feel objects
- capacity to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- experience working in a retail sales environment with moderate noise
- physical and mental ability to perform simple and complex reading and writing, basic math, analysis, judgment, and decision making
- ability to work alone and with others
- willingness to work in varying environmental conditions including exposure to noise, mechanical and electrical equipment, and occasional exposure to dust and fumes
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of leadership experience in retail, hospitality, events, or education
- hands-on, solutions-focused leadership skills
- strong sales and customer service orientation
- excellent communication and team coaching abilities
- flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- detail-oriented with proficiency in store systems and POS platforms
- prior experience in retail or event management preferred
- background in education or training a bonus
- knowledge of merchandising, loss prevention, or store operations is advantageous
