The event operations workforce is central to the successful execution of this extraordinary event. The Tournament Operations team, based in Seattle for this role, will contribute directly to venue readiness, match-day operations, and the seamless delivery of live event experiences at stadiums and related event sites across the host cities. Tournament Operations Specialists will engage in essential activities that include supporting venue setup, ensuring operational standards for facilities and infrastructure are met, managing crowd flow and access control, and coordinating internal teams, volunteers, vendors, and staff. The role demands an acute attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving to maintain high-quality guest and fan experiences. From managing workflows in assigned zones to adhering strictly to safety, security, and event protocols, the position calls for accountability and critical decision-making skills.
The position offers a diverse scope of responsibilities across multiple functional areas such as Access, Accreditation and Ticketing; Broadcast, Media and Content; Commercial and Partnerships; Fan, Hospitality and Guest Operations; Safety, Security and Government Liaison; Team and Competition Services; Transportation and Movement; Venue and Event Operations; Workforce and Volunteer Operations; and support for offsite assignments including airports, hotels, and fan zones.
As a fixed-term contract role, situated onsite in Seattle with responsibilities spanning various venues, the Tournament Operations position requires flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and event days. Candidates should expect variable hours aligned with event schedules and be prepared for early mornings, late nights, and extended shifts.
