The role of Tournament Operations Coordinator within PGA TOUR Americas is an essential position that supports and manages on-site operations for events across North America. This full-time role provides a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive hands-on experience within professional golf, specifically in tournament planning, logistics, and operational execution. The Tournament Operations Coordinator works closely with the Tournament Business and Sponsor Relations team and plays a vital role in executing the TOUR’s and individual tournament’s operational objectives. Key responsibilities include managing tournament infrastructure, maintaining tournament signage, enforcing brand standards, implementing advanced scoring technology, and coordinating volunteer efforts throughout pre-event setup and live operations. This position provides exposure to a broad range of operational functions, including inventory management, transportation coordination, and volunteer training, which are crucial to delivering a seamless tournament experience.

Beyond the operational duties, this role also involves supporting player relations efforts, sponsorship activations, and engagement programs, along with overseeing player wellness areas to ensure that all equipment and facilities meet PGA TOUR Americas’ high standards. The Tournament Operations Coordinator also collaborates with the competitions team and rules officials to ensure smooth tournament gameplay. This role requires substantial travel throughout the season between the US and Canada, reflecting the international scope of PGA TOUR Americas.
