The resort features a highly regarded golf course, multiple dining options, a full-service spa, and recreational facilities designed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all guests. As part of the Wyndham Grand Hotels collection, Grandover Resort & Spa maintains high standards of service and guest satisfaction, contributing to its reputation as one of the top destinations in the region. The resort’s commitment to excellence extends beyond guest services to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment where employees are valued and encouraged to grow professionally.

The role of Tournament and Events Coordinator at The Grandover Resort & Spa is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about golf and event management. This position focuses on the planning, coordination, and execution of golf tournaments and recreational events hosted at the resort. The coordinator will perform on-site administration tasks including golf course setup, marking, rules officiating, starting, and scoring to ensure seamless tournament operations. Additionally, the coordinator will play a key role in marketing efforts by managing media relations, preparing press releases, handling social media content, capturing photography, and publishing tournament results. Sales responsibilities involve promoting digital on-course advertisements to enhance sponsor engagement and tournament visibility.

Beyond golf-specific duties, the Tournament and Events Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the overall guest experience within the resort's recreation facilities. This includes ensuring the cleanliness and presentability of pools and outdoor recreation areas daily, setting up and taking down recreational game areas such as those on the Griffin lawn, and managing supplies and inventory related to tournaments and events. Volunteer coordination for Grandover events is another important aspect of this role, requiring strong organizational and communication skills to manage event volunteers effectively.

The position demands a motivated and dedicated individual who is enthusiastic about driving the promotion and administration of golf while simultaneously supporting a range of resort initiatives. Working closely with various departments, the coordinator will contribute to enhancing the resort’s reputation as a premier destination for golf and recreational activities. The resort offers a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and competitive compensation. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, company-paid life insurance, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off and holidays, pet insurance, employee cafeteria discounts, weekly paychecks, hotel discounts within the Wyndham network, and a uniform allowance.

This full-time role is ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
