Job Description

The 2026 Touring Water Parade, known as the Splash Water Parade, is an innovative and captivating touring production that merges the talents of singers, dancers, and cutting-edge technology with breathtaking water effects to create an extraordinary live entertainment experience. This multi-city touring production embarks on two separate tours for 2026, known as the Blue Tour and the Green Tour, delivering dazzling performances across some of the most iconic amusement parks including Six Flags over Georgia, Carowinds, Dorney Park, and Kings Dominion. The production prides itself on blending artistic creativity with sophisticated technical elements, making it a landmark show within the live entertainment and theme park industry.

The Splash Water Parade Touring Team is made up of a diverse group of dedicated professionals who bring specialized expertise in technical operations, creative production, and seamless show execution. These seasonal touring roles operate on a rigorous 6-day work week with daily work hours ranging between 8 to 10 hours. The company covers all travel and housing expenses, providing hotel accommodations based on double occupancy to ensure the comfort of the team while on tour. It is important to note that meal expenses are not covered by the company, and compensation is a flat pay rate without a separate per diem. This structure allows team members to focus on delivering spectacular performances and managing logistical complexities with a commitment to excellence.

At the heart of the operation is the critical role of the Tour Manager, responsible for overseeing all artistic and technical aspects of the Splash Water Parade during each park’s residency. The Tour Manager serves as the pivotal link between the Tour Director, performers, technical crews, and park personnel to ensure smooth and safe production processes. This leadership role demands excellent coordination skills to juggle rehearsals, run-throughs, and live performances, maintaining the artistic vision and overall quality of the show throughout the tour.

Beyond coordinating performances, the Tour Manager handles travel logistics for cast and crew, accommodation arrangements, equipment transportation, and schedule management. They are also responsible for real-time troubleshooting, ensuring both safety and regulatory compliance with park protocols, particularly concerning water-based effects and performance environments. Communication is a key facet of this role, requiring the Tour Manager to maintain daily updates for senior management and foster transparent collaboration among multiple teams.

The role embodies a high degree of responsibility, overseeing safety meetings, coordinating with corporate teams and local park management, and ensuring all production assets are accounted for and properly secured after each show. The seasonal nature of this position ties into the event schedules of the various parks involved with tours typically running from mid-May through late August, depending on the selected tour. Those joining the Splash Water Parade Touring Team as Tour Managers will experience an exciting and dynamic work environment, contributing to an elite live entertainment production while traveling across the country.
