At the heart of the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta, a major hub for car culture and a playground for auto lovers, AMCI's role is critical in ensuring seamless customer experience, operational excellence, and brand representation.
The role of Tour Guide and Host at the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about both customer service and the automotive industry. As a vital member of the Customer Experience Team, the Tour Guide and Host will serve as the welcoming face of the facility, responsible for leading guided tours through the iconic Porsche Gallery, hosting visitors, and managing front-of-house interactions at the customer experience desk. This position requires a friendly, outgoing personality combined with a strong interest in automobiles and motorsports. The candidate will receive specialized Porsche product training to confidently convey detailed automotive knowledge to guests, enriching their visit with engaging storytelling that reflects the prestigious Porsche heritage.
This part-time position offers approximately 24 to 28 hours weekly, primarily focusing on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with potential for additional work depending on business needs. The role pays $17 per hour and requires consistent availability during peak days. The Tour Guide and Host will play an essential role in fostering memorable experiences that connect people to the Porsche brand, contributing to AMCI's reputation as the premier automotive experience provider. This role will also engage in collaborative efforts with the Events Team, SIM Lab, and Retail Store, making it a dynamic and varied work environment. Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- some college or internship experience preferred
- 1-2 years of customer service experience or event/travel booking
- automotive/motorsports interest preferred
- excellent customer service skills and ability to handle high-level clients/groups
- must be organized and detail-oriented
- proficient computer skills including all Microsoft office applications
- ability to multitask
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to adapt offerings to fit each customer’s needs
- basic conflict resolution/de-escalation

Job Duties
- Lead corporate guests in informative, guided facility tours
- act as host for any retail guests touring the Porsche Gallery
- own the customer’s first impression of the facility by greeting and checking in registered PEC customers
- convey specific product knowledge to customers that want to learn more about our vehicles
- understand and communicate liability waiver, additional vehicle and activity opportunities
- stay up-to-date on new product knowledge when possible
- maintain any and all reports required by the PEC Contact Team Manager
- manage customer service issues where possible
- assist Events Team, SIM Lab and Retail store when needed
- assist in ad hoc projects as needed
- ensure guest information is correctly represented
- create customer name badges
