As a Tortilleria Clerk (Nixtamal) at the El Super store located at 515 S. Riverside Ave., Rialto, California, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience by providing friendly, courteous, and helpful service. This position involves assisting customers with tortilla and masa-related inquiries, preparing a variety of tortillas and masa, maintaining the display through cleaning, filling, and rotating, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards. The role is physically active, requiring standing, walking, lifting, and kneeling, and involves handling materials weighing up to 60 pounds occasionally. The Tortilleria Clerk acts directly under supervision but is essential in maintaining quality and efficiency within the Tortilleria department.

Starting at a competitive rate of $16.90 per hour, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food, customer service, and community involvement. The position requires a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification due to direct involvement with food preparation and handling processes.
