Job Requirements
- Food Handler Card or equivalent certification
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods
- Ability to read and write simple correspondence
- Effective one-on-one and small group communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or retail preferred
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and product labels
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Basic PC and Outlook skills preferred
- Retail management certificate is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service
- Assist in making a variety of tortillas and masa
- Clean, fill, and rotate tortilla displays
- Assist customers in the Tortilleria department
- Follow food safety and handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Lift and move tortilla supplies and products
