Job Requirements
- Food handler card or equivalent certification
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods
- Effective communication skills in Spanish and English
- Ability to read and comprehend product labels and pricing codes
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced grocery store environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and write in Spanish and English
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions
- Basic computer skills including Outlook considered a plus
- Retail management certificate is an advantage
Job Duties
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service
- Assist customers with tortilla-related inquiries and purchases
- Clean, fill, and rotate tortilla displays regularly
- Help in making various types of tortillas and masa for the department
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards strictly
- Lift, stand, walk, and kneel as required for the role
