The Tortilla & Prep Cook role at Chuy's is a dynamic and essential position within the kitchen team, serving as the heartbeat of the culinary operation. This role is centered around crafting fresh tortillas from scratch, which are a signature element of the Tex-Mex menu. In addition to tortilla making, the prep cook is responsible for preparing ingredients by rolling, chopping, slicing, and mixing to ensure everything required for a successful service is ready and of the highest quality. Job Requirements

- ability to stand for long periods
- capability to perform repetitive tasks
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to follow company policies and food safety standards
- excellent manual dexterity
