The success of Legends Global is driven by an ambitious mindset, a strong culture of collaboration, and bold execution strategies. The company fosters an inclusive work environment where team members are encouraged to grow, contribute meaningfully, and thrive professionally and personally. With a mindset that winning is an everyday pursuit, Legends Global invites individuals to join their team and contribute to creating unforgettable experiences.
The role of Prep Cook is positioned within the Toledo Complex, which encompasses both the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center. This role provides critical operational support across both venues, focusing primarily on food preparation to ensure an efficient and safe delivery of food to customer-facing employees for service. The role demands executing all tasks with precision, safety, and adherence to recipes and timelines. A Prep Cook at Legends Global must maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, report punctually for scheduled events, and consistently maintain cleanliness and order within the kitchen and associated areas. This position requires extensive knowledge of menu items and specials, communicates closely with supervisors and management, and works as part of a cohesive team across service departments.
Additionally, the Prep Cook must understand the layout of the kitchen and back-of-house areas to quickly and effectively guide staff and guests as needed, be flexible to reassignments within the venue, and be able to work varying shifts that meet service demands, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This role operates within a dynamic environment composed of kitchens, concession stands, warehouses, docks, and event spaces, which may be either indoors or outdoors, exposing team members to varying temperatures. The Prep Cook role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume event setting, values teamwork, reliability, and exhibits a strong guest-service mindset. Employment type is typically full-time or part-time depending on the venue’s needs, and salary is commensurate with experience and local standards. Join Legends Global and be part of a team focused on operational excellence and delivering memorable hospitality experiences across world-class venues.
