The Toledo Complex, encompassing both the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center, is currently seeking a Concessions Supervisor to provide critical operational support across both venues. Reporting directly to the Concessions Manager, this role is pivotal in managing and guiding concessions, vending, portable, and in-seat service operations under the Legends Hospitality umbrella. The Concessions Supervisor ensures that all operations run smoothly during live events, with an unwavering commitment to delivering outstanding guest service, maintaining operational efficiency, and adhering rigorously to company standards and policies.

The position involves overseeing event-day concessions staff, providing direct guest interaction, and fostering an environment where teamwork and professionalism come first. This role also includes assisting with staffing logistics such as scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling to uphold high standards of service and performance. Inventory management is another crucial responsibility, including the control of high-volume food and beverage stocks and conducting physical inventory audits to resolve any discrepancies. Furthermore, the Concessions Supervisor ensures responsible alcohol service compliance by training staff and enforcing corporate policies.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to interact professionally with co-workers and guests
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
  • Ability to lift and carry 10-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Availability for extended hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Sufficient mobility for reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing and pulling
  • Compliance with state and local health requirements for food handling and alcohol service
  • Commitment to safe work habits and following company safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to interact professionally with co-workers and guests while ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Ability to work in an open-air environment in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, including navigating stairs and ramps
  • Availability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks, including frequent reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • Must meet all state and local health requirements related to food handling and alcohol service

Job Duties

  • Supervise and lead event-day concessions staff while maintaining direct interaction with guests
  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling of event staff
  • Maintain and control high-volume food and beverage inventory
  • Train, educate, and enforce responsible alcohol service practices and ensure compliance with corporate procedures
  • Develop and uphold standards for guest service, sanitation, product quality, and food safety
  • Ensure all cash handling and alcohol service procedures are properly documented and enforced
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure compliance with service standards, inventory procedures, and cash controls
  • Conduct physical inventory audits, research discrepancies, and perform reconciliations as needed
