The role available within the Toledo Complex, which encompasses both the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center, plays a crucial operational support function spanning these two prime event venues. This position prioritizes high-quality customer service during all events to ensure guest satisfaction and maintains accurate accounting of transactions, including careful inventory tracking. The responsibilities involve setting up and servicing beverage locations, proper cash handling, enforcing liquor laws, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of bar work areas. This role includes interaction with customers, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and collaborating closely with management to meet operational standards.

Working in this fast-paced, live event setting requires flexibility with scheduled hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Duties

  • Sets up and services individual beverage locations
  • properly handle cash
  • enforce all liquor laws
  • verify and account for all liquor inventory
  • maintain proper sanitation, cleanliness and organization of bar/work area
  • follow proper safety practices
  • provide pleasant and efficient service to customers
  • prepares all beverage items for sale in the station/bar assigned
  • sells to customers, charging amount indicated on price list
  • receives and handles cash, tickets and/or credit cards
  • accurately verifies all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor
  • verifies cash register is programmed properly, according to approved sales prices
  • follows all rules and regulations which apply to the beverage operations and to Legends Global Food and Beverage Division
  • requests identification for every guest purchasing alcohol
  • performs other related duties as assigned by Food and Beverage Manager(s)
  • stock and replenish bar inventory including liquor, mixers, glassware, ice, and garnishes
  • remove trash and recycle throughout shift and at close
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • report timely to work, in the proper uniform and prepare to start at the starting time
  • know your work area and set up as directed
  • set up, breakdown, stock, restock portable bars for events
  • abide by the operating standards outlined in the policy and procedure manual
  • perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required from management as needed
