Legends Global is the premier partner to the world’s greatest live events, venues, and brands. Established as a leader in delivering integrated solutions, Legends Global operates a network comprising 450 venues worldwide. These venues host over 20,000 events annually, entertaining approximately 165 million guests each year. At the core of Legends Global’s success is a white-label approach that ensures partners remain front and center while benefiting from expert services across feasibility and consulting, owner’s representation, sales, partnerships, hospitality, merchandise, venue management, and content and booking. The company’s deep industry knowledge and execution across these components make it a trusted name in the live event and venue management sector.
Legends Global cultivates a company culture grounded in respect, ambitious thinking, collaboration, and bold action. The organization is passionate about building an inclusive workplace that empowers employees to be authentic, make a tangible impact, and grow their careers. The company prides itself on having a winning formula where every victory is earned through unified teamwork and collective commitment. With a strong emphasis on professional development and teamwork, Legends Global seeks to attract motivated individuals who are excited to contribute to its ongoing success.
The role being offered is based at the Toledo Complex, which includes the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center. This position supports both locations and reports to the Director of Catering. It involves working closely with the events staff to market, sell, contract, and detail events throughout the Toledo Complex. The role requires a strategic approach to sales and marketing principles to effectively promote the facilities, as well as assisting in the development and execution of sales plans that include clear goals and initiatives. The candidate will prospect new and repeat business opportunities to meet and exceed predefined sales targets within the specified market.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Catering Director and catering sales and service personnel to implement sales and up-selling strategies, resolving service issues, and driving exceptional customer service experiences. The role entails auditing client accounts to ensure accuracy and adherence to sales policies, quoting rates and pricing estimates, and preparing contracts and formal license agreements. Building strong partnerships with operational departments and external sales teams is vital to ensure seamless event execution and optimal client satisfaction.
A critical part of the role is managing the food and beverage components for contracted events by preparing banquet event orders, coordinating menu tastings, and working with culinary and operations teams to ensure flawless event logistics. The candidate will also serve as a client liaison during events, providing on-site introductions and ensuring that all client needs are met. Post-event client meetings and feedback collection are also part of the duties to refine services continually. This position demands professionalism, attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.
Compensation for this full-time role ranges from $55,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The package includes competitive benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation time, and a 401k retirement plan. The role is located on-site at the Toledo Complex in Toledo, Ohio, and requires occasional moderate physical activity associated with event coordination. Legends Global is committed to equal opportunity employment and encourages applications from women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans. By joining Legends Global, you become part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team dedicated to excellence in the live events and venue management industry.
