As a To Go Specialist at Red Lobster, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring efficient and accurate takeout service. This position focuses on creating a warm welcome for guests placing to-go orders, assisting them with menu suggestions such as beverages, appetizers, and desserts, and handling their orders with precision using the POS system. Your responsibilities will also include packing food and drink orders carefully to maintain quality and safety during transport, delivering orders to customers both inside and outside the restaurant, and managing transactions efficiently. Your efforts contribute directly to maintaining high customer satisfaction and loyalty by providing excellent service and upholding food safety standards.

Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, crouch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • ability to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
  • ability to work in a team with attention to detail and multi-tasking capability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in customer service or food service preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome customers and greet everyone with a smile
  • suggest sales of beverages, appetizers, and desserts
  • accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them correctly into the POS system
  • pack prepared food and beverage orders in appropriate containers to ensure orders are complete and safe for transport
  • deliver orders to customers inside and outside the restaurant for pickup and manage transactions
  • thank customers and invite them to return
  • follow all food safety regulations
