Job Description

Red Lobster is a renowned seafood restaurant chain that has grown from a single family-owned restaurant into a beloved dining destination with over 500 locations. For more than fifty years, Red Lobster has delivered exceptional seafood experiences, creating lasting connections to the coast and the community. As part of the Red Lobster family, every restaurant is dedicated not only to serving high-quality meals but also to being a welcoming space where guests feel valued and appreciated. The company is recognized for its commitment to hospitality, community engagement, and fostering a positive work environment for its team members.

The role of To Go Specialist at Red Lobster is a vital position responsible for ensuring that guests receive their orders quickly, accurately, and with outstanding customer service. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, have an eye for detail, and appreciate the fast-paced environment of a busy restaurant. As a To Go Specialist, you will be the face of the restaurant's takeout service, greeting guests warmly and assisting them throughout their ordering and pickup experience.

This position offers flexible scheduling, weekly pay, and competitive wages, making it a great fit for people seeking a balance between work and personal life. Additionally, the role comes with a host of benefits including medical, dental, and vision options starting at under $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability coverage, and voluntary benefits. Employees can also participate in a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching contributions after one year of service. Other perks include anniversary pay upon meeting eligibility requirements, discounted shift meals, and a 25% discount when dining as a guest. Red Lobster is committed to employee development, offering comprehensive training and career advancement opportunities to help team members grow and succeed.

Working as a To Go Specialist requires a detail-oriented mindset and a friendly disposition. You will be tasked with welcoming guests, suggestively selling drinks, appetizers, and desserts, accurately taking orders and entering them into the point-of-sale system, and assembling orders to guarantee they are complete and safely packaged. In addition, you will ensure that orders are delivered efficiently to guests inside the restaurant or through curbside pickup, handling transactions smoothly and courteously. Adherence to all food safety standards is critical to maintain the quality and safety of the meals served. This position demands physical endurance to stand for shifts that can last between 8 and 12 hours, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely while moving around the restaurant. Teamwork skills and the ability to multi-task will enhance your success in this role.

Red Lobster values diversity and inclusiveness in its workforce and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. It welcomes applicants from all backgrounds without discrimination based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or veteran status. With exciting plans on the horizon, joining Red Lobster offers an opportunity to be part of a growing, dynamic team whose future is as promising as its current success.
