This role is for a To Go Specialist at Red Lobster, a vital position responsible for ensuring guests receive their takeout orders accurately, efficiently, and with a friendly, welcoming attitude. To Go Specialists serve as essential links between the kitchen and guests, managing food packaging, order accuracy, and customer service at the pickup area. Besides handling customer interactions and transactions, team members help create a positive dining experience that fosters repeat visits and customer satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • capability to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior customer service or restaurant experience is a plus
  • ability to handle multiple tasks accurately
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • teamwork oriented
  • basic math skills for handling transactions
  • familiarity with POS systems beneficial but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet customers with a smile
  • suggest beverages, appetizers, and desserts
  • accurately take food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
  • package food and beverages in appropriate containers ensuring orders are complete and transportable
  • deliver orders to customers both inside and outside the restaurant and handle transactions at pickup area
  • thank customers and invite them to return
  • comply with all food safety regulations
