This position requires excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to welcome guests warmly and assist them throughout their ordering process. Responsibilities include accurately taking and processing food and drink orders, packaging items securely to ensure quality and safety during transport, and delivering orders promptly to guests both inside and outside the restaurant. You will also be expected to upsell menu items like drinks, appetizers, and desserts, enhancing the guest’s experience and supporting the restaurant's sales objectives. The role demands adherence to strict food safety standards, multitasking capabilities, and attention to detail, ensuring every order meets Red Lobster’s high standards. This hourly position offers competitive wages ranging from $17.13 to $25.00 per hour, flexible scheduling options, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at less than $10 per week, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with matching contributions after one year of service. Job Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
- Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
- Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Flexible availability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant environment preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
- Basic proficiency with point of sale (POS) systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Job Duties
- Welcoming guests and greeting every guest with a smile
- Suggestively selling drink, appetizer, and dessert options
- Accurately taking food and drink orders and entering orders into the POS system
- Assembling prepared food and drink orders in appropriate packaging to ensure orders are complete and safe for guests to transport
- Walking orders to guests inside and outside the restaurant for curbside pickup and managing transactions
- Thanking guests and inviting them to return
- Following all food safety standards
