Job Description
The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin, known for their rich history and strong community involvement. As one of the NFL's most iconic franchises, the Packers have cultivated a unique fanbase and a commitment to excellence both on and off the field. Beyond football, the organization has expanded its impact through Titletown, a vibrant mixed-use development adjacent to Lambeau Field that features retail, dining, residential offerings, and a variety of entertainment options. Titletown serves as a community gathering place that celebrates the proud heritage of the Packers while embracing the future of Green Bay as a destination for sports, leisure, and cultural events.
Titletown is not just a location but a dynamic hub of activity that hosts numerous events throughout the year, attracting locals and visitors alike. The role of an Events Staff member is pivotal in maintaining the high standards and welcoming atmosphere that Titletown represents. As an ambassador for Titletown, events staff act as the face of the development, providing guests with valuable information about the venue, its amenities, and the exciting roster of events that take place within the park. The position is an event-based paid role that requires flexible availability including weekdays, early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Employees in this role must be outgoing and capable of navigating the park on foot for extended periods, standing or walking while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
The position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, from assisting in the setup, breakdown, and execution of various events such as Summer Fun Days Showcase, Titletown Beats, Family Fest, and Pumpkin Palooza, to supporting Gameday Live and New Year's Eve celebrations. Staff members engage with visitors to answer inquiries and provide detailed information, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience. A robust knowledge of Titletown and the broader Packers organization is essential to effectively communicate with guests and support event operations. Beyond customer interaction, events staff are also responsible for maintaining event equipment and supplies, troubleshooting operational issues, and working collaboratively with management and team members to achieve shared goals.
Physically, the position demands stamina and the ability to perform light manual labor, including lifting objects up to 35 pounds and working in various weather conditions typical of an outdoor park setting. This challenging environment requires staff to maintain a professional demeanor and uphold the Packers and Titletown brands with integrity and respect. The role does not include supervisory responsibilities but requires employees to demonstrate strong oral communication skills, a willingness to work independently or as part of a team, and a proactive attitude toward contributing to the success of each event.
This role offers a unique opportunity to become part of a historic sports brand while engaging with diverse community members and visitors in a lively and continuously evolving setting. It is ideal for individuals who enjoy dynamic environments, are enthusiastic about event management and customer service, and are motivated to contribute positively to one of the NFL's most beloved organizations.
